Join the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy for a unique culinary event, Friday, November 13th, 2009. The event, which will be held atop the Clarion Hotel State Capital, in Downtown Raleigh, NC, will feature rare breeds of livestock and poultry.
Many of the breeds on the menu have global populations consisting of fewer than 2,000 animals. In order to conserve genetic diversity and increase biodiversity within our food systems, these breeds must be saved. By getting them back into the American diet and onto the American dinner table we can play a critical part in saving these animals.
$50.00 stand-alone ticket, Meal is included in the registration cost for ALBC's Annual Conference. |
